Job Title: Sr..Net Developer
Location: Leeds, UK
Work mode: Hybrid - 2-3 days weekly from office
Job type: 6 months fixed term contract

We at Coforge are looking for an experienced Senior.NET Developer in Leeds, UK.
The project includes work around payment processing, error handling, idempotency, duplicate-payment prevention, retries, recovery and reconciliation with downstream systems.
We’re specifically looking for someone who is still very hands-on technically and can talk clearly about what they have personally designed and built, rather than just describing wider team activity.

The role is very hands-on and will involve helping build a new Azure-hosted payment capability from the ground up. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of technical work, work closely with architecture, Cloud/DevOps, security and QA, and move quickly from design into build.
The key skills we need are:
- Strong C#/ASP.NET Core
- REST API development
- Entity Framework Core
- SQL Server / Azure SQL
- Dependency Injection / SOLID principles
- Unit and integration testing
- Git / code review / CI/CD
- OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect / JWT
- Azure experience, ideally including:
- Docker / containers
- Azure Container Apps or similar
- Azure Key Vault
- Managed Identity
- Application Insights / monitoring
- React experience would be useful
- Payments, transaction processing, reconciliation or financial-services experience would be a strong advantage
