Contract.NET Engineer | £650/day (INSIDE IR35) | Hybrid (UK only)
I’m currently working on an exciting Senior.NET Engineer contract opportunity with a major organisation, focused on improving and modernising data integration across a complex enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on role combining.NET development, system design and technical oversight, with responsibility for assuring the quality of work delivered by an offshore development team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own system design and technical approaches across projects
- Develop high-quality solutions using C# /.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC and T-SQL
- Design and maintain MS SQL Server databases, including Change Data Capture (CDC)
- Build and support real-time and batch integrations
- Work extensively with Azure Service Bus / message-based integration
- Lead code reviews and help establish development standards
- Work closely with architects, project managers and business stakeholders
- Break down requirements into technical tasks and provide estimates
- Ensure solutions meet robust non-functional and quality requirements
- Work alongside and provide technical assurance for offshore developers

We're looking for:
- 5+ years' commercial C# / .NET Core experience
- Strong Web API / REST experience
- Strong T-SQL and relational database design experience
- Experience with Azure Service Bus
- Strong understanding of n-tier architecture, OOP and design patterns
- Experience with unit testing and TDD / BDD
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Experience leading technical specialists through delivery
- Experience working with offshore development teams

Experience with Azure, Azure Data Factory, CRM environments or high-volume public-facing applications would be advantageous.
