Role Description
The Senior Drafter role at Nardis Co. is a full-time, on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Senior Drafter will prepare and update detailed technical drawings and 2D/3D models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering standards and project specifications. This role includes:

- Translating engineering concepts and calculations into clear construction documents
- Revising drawings based on review comments
- Coordinating with engineers, project managers, and other drafters to resolve design issues
- Maintaining drawing libraries
- Applying company CAD standards
- Supporting documentation for permitting, fabrication, and installation

Day-to-day work involves managing multiple drafting assignments, meeting deadlines, participating in design reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of drafting practices and templates.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in CAD and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar) and experience producing detailed engineering drawings and models.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and standards related to oil, gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects, including piping, mechanical, structural, or electrical layouts.
- Experience interpreting technical documents such as specifications, engineering calculations, process diagrams, and construction standards.
- Ability to review, check, and revise drawings for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, with strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Effective collaboration skills for working with engineers, designers, and project managers, including clear communication and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field; significant equivalent experience may be considered.
- Previous experience in EPC or industrial project environments and familiarity with international design codes and standards are highly beneficial.
