A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic Engineering Department as a Senior Draughtsperson, where you will play a crucial role in producing precise models, drawings, BOMs, and P&IDs. You will ensure that all work aligns with contract costs, development budgets, and quality standards. Collaborate with senior staff and local partners to execute technical work packages, contribute to project planning, and enhance continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will not only support our mission of delivering eco-friendly power generation solutions but also foster your personal growth and development within the team.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- You will create and modify 3D models, drawings, and P&IDs based on design information and standards.
- You will ensure all components are accurately specified in Bills of Material and technical documentation.
- You will check and approve your work and that of others, maintaining high-quality standards.
- You will provide task-based man-hour estimates to support project planning and report progress to Section Managers.
- You will actively participate in quality assessments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
What You Bring
- You hold an HNC/HND in an appropriate Engineering subject or possess relevant experience.
- You have 5-10 years of experience in an engineering environment, with at least 3 years focused on turbine/generator technology.
- You are proficient in 2-D and/or 3-D draughting and have experience with order processing systems.
- You possess strong computer literacy and are capable of producing accurate technical documentation.
- You are committed to your personal development and are eager to support the growth of other draughtspersons.
