Job Title: Senior Dynamics Developer

Location: Hybrid – University of Warwick / Remote

Salary: Up to £66,000 DOE

The Role

The University of Warwick is seeking an experienced Dynamics365 developer to join Warwick Employment Group (WEG), part of the university of Warwick, and lead Dynamics implementations in support of our growing portfolio of products and services. This role is perfect for Dynamics developers who are looking to implement new services in a growing business with significant input into the design and architecture of future systems and who possess excellent technical and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To work with Business Analysts and Operations colleagues to design, develop, configure and maintain Dynamics applications, components and tools according to business requirements and agreed specifications
  • Collaborate with technical colleagues to integrate Dynamics offerings with other platforms
  • Contribute to software development standards and best-practice in our Agile development teams
  • Provide estimates for delivery of Dynamics work and contribute to the development and maintenance of technical roadmaps
  • Create technical material supporting governance processes, such as architectural diagrams, risk analysis and change management

Person Specification:

  • Significant experience of managing, developing and maintaining Dynamics systems through the SDLC
  • Knowledge and experience of Dynamics test strategies, e.g. automated, regression, unit, security, etc.
  • Experience of CI/CD through Test, Staging and Production servers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of Office365 and Azure AD integration is desirable
  • Experience of development in one or more programming languages such as C# is desirable
  • Experience of Microsoft Power BI is desirable
  • Experience of GitHub and Jira for code and requirements management is desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of frontend web development: Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is desirable
  • Experience of working in an Agile development environment is desirable
