Stockingford Maintained Nursery School
About The Role
Stockingford Nursery School is a Local Authority Maintained Nursery School. Warwickshire Library are situated on the same site, as are Children and Family Centre Services run by Barnardo’s.
Stockingford Nursery School includes provision for 2–3-year-olds in Little Nursery, and for 3–4-year-olds in Big Nursery. The ethos of our Nursery School is distinctive and we believe that every child is unique, with their own interests, learning styles and culture.
We have a Senior Early Years Educator (SEYE) position available to join our friendly team in our nurturing environment from 2nd November 2026 (subject to safer recruitment checks being completed and on notice period required.) This role will include being a key person for a group of children, supporting their learning alongside the Nursery Teachers and liaising closely with families to ensure the children have the best possible start to their educational journey. We are looking for an inspiring individual who is flexible to work with children aged 2-4 years across the classes.

This is a permanent post is for 37 hours per week, term time only and is Monday to Friday.
Key Requirements
You will hold a relevant level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent qualification and have experience of working with children aged 2-4 years. You will be required to understand and comply with our Nursery School policies and procedures especially relating to Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Data Protection, Code of Conduct and confidentiality. Experience of working with children with individual needs (SEND) would be desirable.
You must be prepared to undertake relevant training necessary for this position including safeguarding, paediatric first aid, health and safety and food hygiene.
