The Role:
Develop electrical designs from concept through to construction-level detail
- Produce SLDs, wiring schematics, load schedules, specifications, and CAD designs
- Design and specify control panels and electrical systems
- Work across renewable heat and power systems, including heat pumps, thermal storage, PV, and other low-carbon technologies
- Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and other engineering disciplines
- Support commissioning and testing during construction
- Work directly with clients, architects, construction partners, and other stakeholders
- Support and mentor junior engineers while helping develop the wider electrical and controls team
- Contribute to both project delivery and internal R&D

About You:
- 5-7+ years experience in EC&I design engineering
- Experience producing designs through RIBA Stage 4 to construction
- Strong knowledge of LV systems, BS 7671, and 18th Edition
- Experience with BMS, PLC, or SCADA systems for industrial/HVAC equipment
- Strong cable specification and sizing experience
- Experience with AutoCAD, Amtech, or similar design tools
- Experience working with power generation equipment
- Experience across HVAC, building services, or industrial processes
- Exposure to heat pumps, chillers, boilers, and/or CHP
- Comfortable working with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent HND
- Chartered Engineer status, or currently working towards chartership
