Job Title: Senior EC&I Designer
Location: Warrington, 3 days office, 2 days home hybrid
Duration: 12 Months+
Security Clearance: SC (BPSS minimum to commence)
IR35: Inside IR35
Project Overview
The SFM Portfolio requires support in delivering CE&I asset care activities across a portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will provide CE&I design services, developing and delivering design solutions in response to project functional specifications and client requirements.
Role Responsibilities
- Work within the existing CE&I design team to deliver designs in line with project schedules and key delivery milestones.
- Develop and deliver CE&I design solutions based on client problem definitions and functional specifications.
- Support plant configuration walkdowns to confirm and accurately record baseline information.
- Produce outline design schemes and supporting documentation.
- Attend design reviews and support the Responsible Engineer (RE) in presenting design documentation.
- Produce design drawings using AutoCAD.
- Support the production of design packages suitable for manufacture and installation, including drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.

Essential Experience
- Proven CE&I design experience with the ability to produce designs, schemes, drawings, and supporting calculations.
- Experience producing both Instrumentation and Electrical designs.
- Understanding of CDM Regulations and their application.
- Previous experience developing design packages for manufacture and installation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD design production.

Essential Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of 2 years' design delivery experience,
- OR
- BTEC, HNC, or HND qualification with 5-8 years' design delivery experience.
Desirable Experience
- AutoCAD Electrical
- Trimble ProDesign
- AVEVA E&I
- Experience using client IT systems (MS Office, Cimage, etc.)
