Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer
Location: Moor Row, Cumbria & Warrington, Cheshire
Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite
Salary: £51,500-£63,500 per annum DOE + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join a leading specialist engineering organisation delivering critical projects across nuclear, clean energy, defence and civil decommissioning.

As a Senior EC&I Engineer, you will:
- Lead the design and delivery of EC&I systems within regulated and safety-critical environments.
- Develop and deliver robust engineering solutions in line with applicable nuclear safety standards.
- Provide technical leadership across complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Work closely with clients, regulators, suppliers and internal teams to resolve technical challenges and drive successful delivery.
- Produce, review and manage technical documentation, including specifications and safety case contributions.
- Support project delivery, technical coordination and continuous improvement across engineering activities.
- Help maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and engineering excellence.
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven experience designing and delivering EC&I systems in regulated environments.
- Knowledge and application of nuclear safety standards, including IEC 61508 and BS EN 61511.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex projects.
- Strong technical communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients, regulators and suppliers.
- Experience producing and reviewing technical documentation and contributing to safety cases.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards Chartered status is preferred.
