A respected and growing environmental consultancy based in Tetbury is seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join its expanding team. Located in the heart of the Cotswolds, the practice delivers high-quality ecological and environmental services across the South West and beyond.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated ecologist who is ready to take a leading role in project delivery, client relationships, and team development within a supportive and forward-thinking consultancy.

The Senior Ecologist will;
- Lead a diverse portfolio of ecological projects from tender to completion
- Undertake and oversee protected species surveys and habitat assessments
- Deliver high-quality technical reports, EcIAs, and Biodiversity Net Gain strategies
- Provide expert ecological advice to clients, planners, and design teams
- Mentor junior ecologists and contribute to team development
- Support business development and maintain strong client relationships
You will ideally have;

- Strong field survey experience and sound botanical knowledge
- Expertise in UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
- Experience producing EcIA and BNG assessments
- Protected species licences (desirable)
- Membership of CIEEM (or working towards)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and project management skills
