About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Ecologist to join a small, friendly and established ecological consultancy delivering a wide range of ecological and wildlife services across South Wales and the South West. The company works across residential, infrastructure and renewable energy projects, providing opportunities to take ownership of projects and develop your technical expertise.
As a Senior Ecologist, you will manage projects, undertake ecological fieldwork, prepare high-quality reports and provide technical advice to clients and stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior members of the team.

Requirements
- 2+ years ecological consultancy experience
- Strong protected species and habitat survey experience
- Experience managing ecological projects
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- CIEEM membership desirable
- Protected species licence, particularly bats, desirable
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Full right to work in the UK
- Living in or near to the Cardiff office
