Senior eCommerce Marketplace Executive
£40,000–£45,000 DOE + discretionary KPI-based bonus
Office-based | Hybrid Fridays available for candidates living within 15 miles
4½-day working week | 1pm finish on Fridays
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Senior eCommerce Marketplace Executive to join an established and growing health and wellness food business.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketplace professional to take ownership of the day-to-day trading and continued growth of the brand across Amazon, eBay and future marketplace platforms.
The successful candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, combining marketplace expertise with data analysis, advertising, stock management and trading strategy to drive sales, improve conversion and maximise profitability.
This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership and the opportunity to play an important part in the continued development of the company's eCommerce marketplace presence.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Management
- Manage the day-to-day operation of marketplace accounts, including Amazon, eBay and future marketplace platforms.
- Take ownership of marketplace trading activity and performance.
- Create, update and optimise product listings, including titles, descriptions, imagery, keywords, attributes and enhanced brand content.
- Ensure catalogue data, product information and marketplace content remain accurate and commercially effective.
Trading & Commercial Growth
- Develop and implement marketplace trading plans to increase sales, improve profitability and achieve agreed revenue targets.
- Monitor product rankings, traffic, conversion rates and sales performance.
- Analyse competitor activity and marketplace trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve product visibility, conversion and overall marketplace performance.
- Support the development and launch of new product ranges across marketplace channels.
Promotions & Campaigns
- Plan and manage marketplace promotions, discounts, seasonal campaigns and key commercial events.
- Support and manage product launches across marketplace platforms.
- Ensure promotional activity is commercially focused and aligned with wider business objectives.

Marketplace Advertising
- Manage marketplace advertising activity, including Amazon Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands.
- Monitor advertising performance, spend, return and profitability.
- Use performance data to optimise campaigns and identify opportunities to improve commercial return.
- Work closely with relevant internal teams to ensure advertising activity supports wider trading objectives.
Stock & Fulfilment
- Monitor stock availability across marketplace channels.
- Manage sales forecasts and fulfilment requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams to minimise out-of-stock periods and avoid excess inventory.
- Identify potential stock issues and take proactive action to protect marketplace sales.
Account Health & Compliance
- Maintain marketplace account health across all platforms.
- Monitor customer feedback, product reviews and performance notifications.
- Ensure marketplace requirements, compliance standards and platform policies are adhered to.
- Identify and resolve account or product issues quickly and effectively.
Reporting & Analysis
- Produce regular marketplace performance reports.
- Analyse sales, advertising, profitability and product performance.
- Translate marketplace data into clear commercial insights and actionable recommendations.
- Track performance against agreed targets and identify areas requiring improvement.
Marketplace Expansion
- Research and evaluate new marketplace opportunities.
- Support the onboarding of additional platforms and territories.
- Assist with the introduction of new product ranges across marketplace channels.
About You
We're looking for an experienced eCommerce marketplace professional who is comfortable taking ownership and working in a commercially driven environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience managing eCommerce marketplace accounts.
- Strong experience with Amazon, ideally alongside eBay or other marketplace platforms.
- Experience optimising product listings and marketplace content.
- Experience managing Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands or similar marketplace advertising.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret marketplace performance data.
- Experience working with sales, conversion, advertising and profitability metrics.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Experience with marketplace analytics and reporting dashboards.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics 4.
- Experience managing product feeds, catalogue data, SKUs and system integrations.
- Understanding of marketplace fulfilment models, including FBA, merchant fulfilment and third-party logistics.
- Experience with stock forecasting, demand planning and inventory management.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to turn data into practical actions.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Package & Benefits
- £40,000–£45,000 salary, depending on experience.
