Big Potato’s Purpose
Big Potato’s purpose is to Light Up the Moments We Share Together. Our games are easy-to-learn, laughter-first games that are played by millions of people around the world. Despite being better connected than ever before, quality time together is increasingly rare. Our games bring people together in a way only a good game can.
We have a team that’s ambitious, creative, and committed to making brilliant games and shaking things up in the category. And we believe in doing it the right way. We’re bothered about our People, our Customers, our Consumers, and the Planet. We’re B-Corp Certified and consistently achieve high Great scores in our employee NPS surveys.
We’re one of the UK’s fastest-growing games companies, and as we scale globally we’re recruiting into our Ecommerce team.
The Role
You’ll own the day-to-day trading of our Amazon, TikTok, and Shopify accounts, with a strong focus on forecasting, pricing, and margin. You’ll lead a team of two Ecommerce Managers, and work closely with Performance Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Brand Marketing to keep our ecommerce priorities joined up across the business.
Team Leadership & Trading
- Manage and develop two Ecommerce Managers, setting clear priorities and helping them grow from reactive account management into proactive commercial ownership
- Lead our weekly ecommerce trading rhythm, making sure actions get followed through to completion
- Act as the day-to-day escalation point for the team, so routine issues don’t need to land on the Ecommerce Director’s desk
- Keep improving how the team works, including where AI and automation can help

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
