Thrivin Senior Ecommerce Manager
Thrivin is looking for a highly commercial and creative Senior Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of our ecommerce experience and help drive the next stage of our online growth.
This role sits at the intersection of ecommerce, performance, brand, and customer experience. We’re looking for someone who understands what makes a high-performing DTC website convert, but who also has a strong eye for aesthetics and understands the importance of maintaining a premium, engaging, and cohesive brand experience.
You’ll own the day-to-day performance and evolution of our Shopify store, continuously identifying creative ways to improve conversion, customer journey, merchandising, and overall site experience.
Reporting into the Head of Growth, you’ll work closely across Growth, Marketing, Creative, Brand, Operations, Planning, and Product, while providing strong leadership to the wider ecommerce function.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the overall ecommerce strategy and day-to-day performance of the Thrivin website.
- Drive conversion rate optimisation (CRO) across the customer journey, identifying opportunities to improve conversion, AOV, engagement, and revenue.
- Take ownership of Shopify, ensuring the site is optimised, commercially effective, and continuously evolving.
- Develop and test creative ways to improve the onsite experience, from landing pages and navigation to product discovery, merchandising, bundles, upsells, and checkout.
- Use ecommerce and performance data to identify opportunities, diagnose friction points, and prioritise initiatives with the greatest commercial impact.
- Build and manage a strong testing and experimentation roadmap, using insights and performance data to inform decisions.
- Work closely with the Head of Growth and performance marketing teams to ensure paid traffic lands on highly relevant, high-converting experiences.
- Partner with Creative and Brand teams to translate Thrivin’s brand DNA into a compelling digital experience.
- Collaborate with Product, Planning, and Operations around launches, stock availability, merchandising, and commercial priorities.
- Lead ecommerce planning for key launches, campaigns, and peak trading periods.
- Monitor and report on key ecommerce KPIs including conversion rate, AOV, revenue, traffic, bounce/exit behaviour, and customer journey performance.
- Lead, develop, and motivate the ecommerce team, creating clear ownership, priorities, and high standards of execution.
- Work with developers, designers, and external partners where required to deliver site improvements and new functionality.
- Stay ahead of developments in DTC ecommerce, Shopify, CRO, and digital customer experience, bringing new ideas and best practices into the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
