Senior Ecommerce Operations Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Ecommerce Operations Specialist who will be responsible for providing operational leadership and expertise across the UK network, supporting the Head of Operations in the successful mobilisation of new contracts, warehouse start-ups, customer implementations, and operational improvement initiatives for our Global Ecommerce Retail client.

You will act as a key operational specialist, providing hypercare support during site launches and customer go-lives, whilst also offering targeted leadership support to existing operations requiring additional operational focus, performance improvement, or stabilisation. You will be able to draw upon your significant experience working within an e-commerce, or high-volume fulfilment environment and you will bring a strong customer focus, operational discipline, continuous improvement mindset, and leadership capability to support the ongoing growth of the business.

As a role model for the Company's values of Solidarity, Operational Excellence, Demanding Standards, and Entrepreneurship, the Senior Ecommerce Operations Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring operational success across the UK network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to the Head of Operations, providing leadership support across the UK network.
  • Support sites through operational challenges, change, start-ups, and stabilisation periods.
  • Build strong relationships with operational and support teams, leading by example.

Customer Implementations & Hypercare

  • Lead operational readiness for new customer implementations and warehouse start-ups.
  • Provide hypercare support during mobilisation and launch phases.
  • Monitor performance, manage escalations, and support the transition to business-as-usual operations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
