About the Role
The Senior DACH Editor is a high-impact position where you will manage a heavy flow of content. You will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging, and compliant content that supports Paradise Media’s iGaming brands and global content strategy. This role combines deep iGaming expertise, SEO-driven writing, and strict adherence to regulatory and editorial standards.
You’ll work closely with the Head of SEO and collaborate with writers, editors, SEO teams, and content leads to ensure that every piece of content aligns with performance objectives, brand tone, and compliance requirements. This position suits a results-oriented German-language Editor who thrives in a data-informed, fast-paced environment.
This role can be based in Malta (hybrid) or remote within other European countries.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Edit new content to ensure it meets brand voice, quality standards, and regional nuances.
- Update existing content to maintain relevance, accuracy, and ranking power.
- Use AI when requested to increase the editorial output without it affecting content negatively.
- Ensure all content meets legal, advertising, and responsible gaming guidelines across relevant geos.
- Ensure content passes plagiarism detection and AI detection software.
- Follow and implement the best SEO practices for the DACH market, including crafting compelling meta titles, meta descriptions, and H1s.
- Execute internal linking strategies to boost site authority and improve site navigation.
- Be able to work on edits and formatting directly in WordPress when needed.
- Know how to work with SurferSEO, Copyscape, Originality, Ahrefs, Gemini, and other tools.
- Use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, generate drafts, or perform data-driven content audits.
- Work within a KPI-driven framework to meet output volume and quality benchmarks.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes to provide relevant and timely content.
- Communicate clearly and timely with the respective team members.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategic discussions to identify content growth and improvement opportunities.
- Perform any additional tasks or roles as needed by the department.
- Commit to a minimum of 30 hours but not more than 40 hours per week given the company is able to provide consistent workload.
- Train junior writers and editors if needed.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience producing high-performing SEO content in German, with strong expertise in both sports betting and online casinos.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Native German speaker with excellent grammar, natural writing flow, and deep DACH cultural insight, delivering consistent, high-quality German content within structured content systems.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining editorial and brand standards.
