About The Opportunity

We are searching for an experienced, high-impact Social Media Lead to join the Central Communications team. Sitting at the heart of a supportive communications hub, you will act as the operational and strategic social authority across a broad region. Your primary mission will be to operationalize social media frameworks, build scalable toolkits for numerous communications managers, elevate the corporate social media presence, and translate complex technological innovations into engaging, and culturally resonant social narratives that capture genuine excitement.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

  • Own the strategy and day-to-day excellence of the corporate social media footprint, partnering with senior executives and spokespeople to shape authentic executive voice and build visibility.
  • Create comprehensive social toolkits for major launches, collaborating with global communications, product marketing, and regional teams to deliver plug-and-play assets, demos, and copy for communications managers.
  • Demystify complex technological models and breakthroughs into compelling, accessible narratives that generate genuine excitement across social channels.
  • Act as the team’s visual and social video champion, establishing best practices for vertical social video, crafting engaging scripts, directing agency creative, and advising on rapid mobile video creation tools.
  • Partner with cross-functional digital marketing teams to coordinate organic-to-paid social amplification strategies for key moments.
  • Oversee publication workflows on the global blog, reviewing incoming drafts and efficiently managing content management system (CMS) workflows.
  • Build standardized social toolkits, asset guidelines, and playbooks, coordinating with global communications teams to adapt global assets for communications managers.
  • Review and copy-edit approximately 10 blog posts per week, managing publishing cadence on the CMS platform and ensuring quality control and brand tone adherence.

What You’ll Bring (Required Skills & Experience)

  • Solid dedicated experience in social media management, communications, and digital content delivery.
  • Extensive track record managing large-scale corporate social media accounts and ghostwriting/partnering with senior leadership.
  • Genuine curiosity about emerging technology, digital innovation, and digital culture, with a natural ability to turn complex concepts into accessible stories.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build consensus across cross-functional matrixed teams spanning multiple countries and time zones.
  • Working familiarity with CMS publishing (or similar platforms), social analytics suites, and mobile content creation tools.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have Skills)

  • Prior background in leading social/creative agencies or tier-1 global tech environments.
  • Experience providing creative direction on social video formats, including scripting and storyboarding, and understanding mobile video pacing.
