The Role
The Senior Editorial Operations Manager is the strategic and operational lead for editorial operations across British Vogue’s content platforms. While the primary focus of the role is supporting British Vogue, the role may also provide operational support to other Vogue markets across the global network as required. Working closely with VP, Global Operations and Content Strategy, the Senior Editorial Operations Manager ensures operational excellence, effective budget management, and the seamless execution of editorial content.
What will you be doing?
- Oversee and strategically manage British Vogue’s editorial budget across platforms and special projects, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time, on brand, and on budget.
- Develop and refine operational strategies, workflows, and systems that support editorial innovation and efficiency.
- Support with operational workflows and systems across markets, as directed by the VP, Global Operations and Content Strategy.
- Lead production processes for all UK print supplements and editorial projects, setting timelines, managing resources, and running regular production meetings to maintain alignment across teams.
- Partner with the VP, Global Operations and Content Strategy on forward planning, content scheduling, and resource allocation to enable creative and strategic priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all British Vogue team and people-related matters, helping to foster an inclusive, high-performing, and creatively driven culture.
- Lead internal communications and ensure transparency and cohesion across editorial teams.
- Manage content planner, procurement, vendor relations, and invoice processes for all UK editorial projects.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams on contributor agreements, content review, and risk management, ensuring editorial and reputational integrity.
