Company: Your Education Supply
Sector: Education Recruitment
Role Type: Full-Time
Experience: Experienced 360 Education Recruiter
The Opportunity
Your Education Supply is looking for an experienced 360 Education Recruitment Consultant who wants more than simply joining another recruitment agency. We are building something from the ground up, and we are looking for someone who wants to be an important part of that journey. This is an opportunity for an experienced education recruiter to bring their network, ideas and commercial experience into a growing business where their contribution will genuinely be recognised.
You won't be joining a huge recruitment floor where you are just another billing number. You will have the opportunity to build your own desk, develop client relationships, influence how we operate and play a major part in the growth of Your Education Supply. For the right person, this role has the potential to develop into a senior leadership position as the business grows.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a true 360 recruitment role, covering both client development and candidate recruitment. A major part of the position will be generating new business opportunities and developing long-term relationships with schools, academies, MATs and other education providers.
You will:
- Generate new business leads and proactively open doors with schools and education organisations.
- Build relationships with Headteachers, Business Managers, HR teams, Trust leaders and other education decision-makers.
- Develop your own client portfolio through telephone, email, LinkedIn, networking and face-to-face meetings.
- Identify opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Attend client meetings and confidently present the Your Education Supply proposition.
- Negotiate commercial terms and convert new relationships into active clients.
- Recruit and build a strong pipeline of education professionals.
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, direct approaches and your existing network.
- Interview, qualify and understand candidates beyond simply matching a CV to a vacancy.
- Match candidates to schools based on skills, experience, personality and the requirements of the setting.
- Manage temporary, long-term and permanent vacancies from initial requirement through to successful placement.
- Maintain regular communication with both clients and candidates.
- Work closely with compliance colleagues to ensure candidates are ready to work.
- Develop repeat business rather than relying solely on one-off placements.
- Build a reputation within your territory as a trusted education recruitment partner.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Business Development Is Key
We are particularly interested in recruiters who can demonstrate that they have personally generated new business, rather than solely managing an established client base. You should be comfortable picking up the phone, approaching new schools, arranging meetings and turning cold relationships into genuine commercial partnerships. We want someone who sees business development as an exciting part of recruitment rather than something they have to do.
You might already have relationships across education that you would like the freedom to develop further, or you may have previously built a successful education recruitment desk from scratch. Either way, we want someone who knows how to create opportunities.
What We're Looking For
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience within education recruitment.
- Strong experience working in a 360 recruitment environment.
- A proven track record of generating new client opportunities.
- Experience building and developing an education recruitment desk.
- Strong candidate sourcing and relationship-building skills.
- An understanding of temporary and/or permanent education recruitment.
- Confidence speaking with senior decision-makers within schools and education organisations.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- The resilience required to develop new business.
- A proactive approach to sales and recruitment.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your desk.
- A strong understanding of what excellent client and candidate service looks like.
- Most importantly, we want someone who is hungry to build.
Why Join Your Education Supply?
Be Important From Day One
You will not disappear into a team of 50 consultants. Your ideas, relationships, performance and opinions will genuinely matter. You will work closely with the people building the company and have direct input into how the recruitment operation develops.
Build Something You Can Be Proud Of
We want you to develop your desk as though it were your own business. You will have the freedom to develop relationships, identify opportunities and create new ways of winning clients.

Recognition Beyond Your Monthly Numbers
Of course, recruitment is commercially driven. But we also believe great recruiters should be valued for the relationships they build, the reputation they create and the contribution they make to the wider company. Success here isn't just about this month's billing figure.
Genuine Progression
As Your Education Supply grows, we want the people who helped build the company to grow with it. For the right person, progression could develop into opportunities such as: Senior Consultant → Principal Consultant → Team Leader → Regional Manager → Recruitment Director
We would much rather develop future leaders from within the business than constantly recruit above the people who helped us get there.
Your Voice Will Matter
If you think we should change something, improve something or try something differently, we want to hear it. Being part of a start-up means you have the opportunity to influence the company rather than simply follow processes designed years before you arrived.
Who Will Thrive Here?
This role will suit someone who has worked within education recruitment and thought:
"I know I could build something bigger if I was given the opportunity." You may currently be a successful consultant who wants more autonomy. You may be frustrated that your contribution isn't recognised. You may want a clearer route into management. Or you might simply want to join a company early enough that your success can genuinely shape where the business goes. If you're commercially driven, confident in front of clients and capable of building relationships from scratch, we would love to speak with you.
About Your Education Supply
Your Education Supply is building a modern education recruitment business focused on developing genuine partnerships with education providers. We want to move beyond the traditional approach of simply filling vacancies. Our aim is to understand what schools actually need, provide high-quality education professionals and build long-term relationships based on service, transparency, value and outcomes. As we grow, we want ambitious people to grow alongside us. This isn't just an opportunity to join a recruitment company. It's an opportunity to help build one.
