The Council is seeking to recruit a Senior Electoral Services Officer to work within the Legal and Democratic Services Section.

Applicants should have experience of working in Electoral Registration and have detailed knowledge of current legislation. You should hold the AEA Certificate in Electoral Administration or be willing to study to obtain the Certificate.

You will be responsible for the management, co-ordination and administration of all aspects of the electoral registration process, including the preparation and completion of the Register, the management of the Council’s public engagement strategy and registration plan and the management of all types of elections.

You will need to have in depth experience of managing Individual Electoral Registration.
