Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Company Overview
We are collaborating with a leading Building Services consultancy that is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its expanding team.
About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will take the lead on the design and delivery of electrical building services projects from the initial concept through to completion. You will work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design of building services projects across various sectors.
- Produce and review detailed designs, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, and deliverables.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and attend project meetings.
- Coordinate with internal and external design teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Carry out design reviews and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Support business development activities and identify opportunities with existing clients.
- Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing engineering team.

Requirements
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Proven experience within a Building Services consultancy environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical design, including power, lighting, and associated building systems.
- Experience delivering projects across a range of sectors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior engineers.
- Chartered status or working towards chartership would be advantageous.
