About the Role
This role is for an experienced electrical design engineer to join a growing building services design team. You’ll work on a range of technically interesting and varied projects, including work with well-known architects, designers, and contractors. They have a great reputation for the quality of their services and their focus on sustainability and are looking for an engineer who shares these values.

The role will be instrumental in helping to continue to grow and develop a team of technically competent engineers as well as maintaining good client relationships to support future business growth.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the day-to-day technical delivery of the electrical design services for multi-disciplinary projects across a number of building sectors.
- Attending project meetings.
- Working in an integrated project design team with other construction professionals.
- Engage with junior staff in their day-to-day activities and offer advice and guidance.
- Work with the team leader to help monitor fee expenditure, resource, and work delivered.

Experience Required
- Degree educated in electrical engineering, building services, or similar.
- Excellent technical knowledge and experience as an electrical design engineer in MEP, preferably a chartered engineer or working towards chartership.
- Thorough understanding of building services engineering.
- Experience of mentoring junior members of staff would be beneficial.
