Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

Location: Outskirts of Norwich
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + benefits
Flexible Working: Hybrid model with flexible start times

The Opportunity

We're delighted to be partnering with a specialist electrical consultancy that has built a reputation for excellence in building services design. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer (5-8 years' experience) to step into a senior role within a supportive, people-first organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading electrical design projects across a variety of building services sectors.
  • Producing detailed designs, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and other consultants.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.
  • Conducting site visits, surveys, and inspections.
  • Managing project delivery, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Championing sustainable and innovative design solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5-8 years' experience in electrical design within building services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Proven track record of managing projects and leading teams.
