Are you a Senior Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a multidisciplinary consultancy delivering a diverse range of exciting projects?
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to play a key role in the design and delivery of innovative, sustainable projects across multiple sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team where you'll have genuine influence over projects from concept through to completion.
The Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll lead the design and coordination of electrical building services systems while working closely with mechanical engineers, BIM specialists, architects, and other design disciplines.
You'll be involved in a variety of projects, taking ownership of electrical design solutions and helping to deliver high-quality, efficient, and sustainable outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services systems
- Produce electrical design calculations, specifications, reports, and technical documentation
- Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and data systems
- Coordinate designs with mechanical, public health, structural, and architectural teams
- Support projects through all stages, from concept to construction
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards, including BS 7671
- Work within a BIM environment using Revit and other coordination tools
- Attend client and design team meetings
- Contribute to low-carbon and sustainable design strategies
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians
- Assist with project planning, resource management, and successful project delivery

About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience delivering electrical building services designs within a consultancy environment.
You Will Have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Proven experience within a Building Services (MEP) consultancy
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and BS 7671
- Experience delivering projects across multiple design stages
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Desirable Experience:
- Chartered status or working towards chartership (CIBSE, IET or equivalent)
- BIM and Autodesk Revit experience
- Knowledge of sustainable and low-carbon design principles
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary consultancy
