Lead Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

Electrical Design Engineer is required to join a design and build contractor, with a background in electrical building services from an Electrical Contractor or Building Services Consultancy background.

Package

  • Salary to £65K
  • 25 days holiday
  • Pension

We require someone to hit the ground running so only able to accept applications from local individuals with electrical design experience in building services.

The Role

  • Lead design engineer for team of electrical design engineers, mentoring, delegating, technical support
  • Electrical design of LV electrical layout requirements for multiple simultaneous projects
  • Equipment selections and design calculations
  • Attend meetings with customers
  • Assist with project planning
  • Maintenance of relevant regulatory/legislative compliance
  • Specification of compliant parts and practices

You

  • An experienced Senior or Lead Electrical Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer
  • Likely to have worked in an Electrical Contractor or Building Services Consultancy
  • Previous experience in senior / leadership role
  • 18th Edition qualified
  • Electrical Design skills are essential
  • HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering
  • AutoCAD experience/qualification
  • Amtech design calculation software experience is preferable
  • Driving licence
