Our client is a globally recognised engineering consultancy delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across a diverse range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, energy, sport, and mixed use developments. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to join their collaborative team and contribute to projects that are shaping the future of sustainable building design.
The Role
Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will play a key role in delivering electrical building services designs from initial feasibility and concept stages through to detailed design and project completion.
You will work on a variety of technically challenging projects, collaborating with architects, engineers, and other specialists to develop efficient, sustainable solutions that maximise value for clients and support their journey towards Net Zero Carbon.

The role will also involve contributing to digital innovation initiatives, improving project delivery through integrated design approaches, automation, and the use of industry leading technologies.
What You'll Bring
- Degree qualified in Electrical Services Engineering (Master's level preferred).
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership through a recognised professional institution such as IET or CIBSE.
- Strong experience in electrical building services design across a range of project scales and building types.
- Experience taking lead design responsibility on projects.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary design teams.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and project management skills.
- Strong technical ability and a passion for sustainable building design.
- Experience using electrical design and analysis software.
- Experience working with Revit is advantageous.
- Experience supporting, mentoring, or developing junior engineers and technicians.
