Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Manchester with Hybrid Working
Sector: Multi-Sector Design Projects
Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a highly regarded engineering team delivering diverse and technically challenging building services projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step, working across a broad range of sectors including commercial, education, residential, retail, industrial and leisure.
The Role
- Deliver electrical design from feasibility through to completion and handover
- Work closely with clients, architects, engineers and contractors across project teams
- Attend and contribute to technical and project meetings
- Ensure designs meet current legislation, standards and health and safety requirements
- Advise clients on energy use, sustainability and carbon reduction strategies
- Review contractor proposals and carry out site inspections
- Design building services systems using software such as CAD, Revit, Dialux and Amtech

About You
- Degree qualified in Building Services or Electrical Engineering
- Significant experience in electrical building services design
- Chartered or working towards CEng status
- Strong understanding of UK regulations and design standards
- Proficient in industry software including CAD and BIM tools
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Motivated, organised and keen to progress
