Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Manchester with Hybrid Working

Sector: Multi-Sector Design Projects

Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a highly regarded engineering team delivering diverse and technically challenging building services projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step, working across a broad range of sectors including commercial, education, residential, retail, industrial and leisure.

The Role

  • Deliver electrical design from feasibility through to completion and handover
  • Work closely with clients, architects, engineers and contractors across project teams
  • Attend and contribute to technical and project meetings
  • Ensure designs meet current legislation, standards and health and safety requirements
  • Advise clients on energy use, sustainability and carbon reduction strategies
  • Review contractor proposals and carry out site inspections
  • Design building services systems using software such as CAD, Revit, Dialux and Amtech

About You

  • Degree qualified in Building Services or Electrical Engineering
  • Significant experience in electrical building services design
  • Chartered or working towards CEng status
  • Strong understanding of UK regulations and design standards
  • Proficient in industry software including CAD and BIM tools
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Motivated, organised and keen to progress
