An established multi-disciplinary building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing London team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer looking to take on more responsibility within a collaborative consultancy, working across a diverse portfolio of projects while mentoring junior engineers and helping shape the growth of the team.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical building services designs across a wide range of projects, working closely with architects and other engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the electrical design of building services projects from concept through to completion.
- Managing your own workload and delivering projects with minimal supervision.
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers within the team.
- Attending site visits and overseeing installations where required.
- Producing technical reports, feasibility studies, and energy assessments.
- Contributing to Part L compliance and sustainable design strategies.
- Maintaining strong client relationships and supporting repeat business.
- Assisting with fee proposals and project planning.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary design environment.

Projects

What We're Looking For
- Around 5+ years' experience within a Building Services consultancy.
- Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of electrical building services design.
- Able to work independently while supporting less experienced engineers.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to team development.
