Job Title: Senior Electrical & Electronic Components Engineer
Location: Hinckley
Right to Work: This position is open to UK-based candidates who already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical & Electronic Components Engineer to support the development of advanced electrical and electronic systems for future vehicle programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of electrical and electronic components across chassis, powertrain, electric driveline, RESS and HMI systems.
- Define, specify and validate components to meet system requirements, safety standards (FuSa), environmental conditions and EMC regulations.
- Identify, analyse and resolve technical issues and risks at both component and full motorcycle level.
- Support electrical architecture development and system integration activities.
- Identify and resolve technical issues at component, subsystem and vehicle level.
- Manage suppliers to deliver ECUs and components to quality, cost and timing targets.
- Collaborate with systems, software, validation and manufacturing teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Degree (BEng/BSc/MEng/MSc) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, or HND with relevant industry experience.
- Experience in electrical and electronic hardware development within automotive, motorcycle, powersports or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of requirements capture, hardware specification and supplier management.
- Proven experience delivering ECUs and electrical/electronic components through full project lifecycles.
- Understanding of electrical system integration and component validation.

Desirable
- Previous experience within the motorcycle industry would be highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of CAN communication and tools such as CANoe, CANalyser or equivalent.
- Experience in Functional Safety (ISO 26262), EMC, connectivity, telematics or HMI development.
