Senior Electrical Engineer - Building Services
Birmingham
I'm working with a well-established, design-led building services consultancy with a strong national reputation and a growing Birmingham office. With a significant pipeline of secured work and an ambitious growth plan to double headcount locally over the next 12 months, this is a great time to join a business in expansion mode.
They are now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to take a key role in project delivery, client engagement, and supporting the development of the local team.

The Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Lead the delivery of electrical building services design across a variety of projects
- Produce calculations, specifications, reports and detailed design drawings
- Act as a key client-facing representative in meetings and project discussions
- Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, programme and budget compliance
- Review and check technical output from the wider team
- Contribute to CDM compliance, project risk management and ISO quality standards
This role also offers clear progression into leadership as the Birmingham team continues to grow.
What They're Looking For
- Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (HNC/HND considered)
- Chartered or working towards chartership (CIBSE or IET)
- Strong proficiency with design tools including Amtech, Relux and Dialux
- Experience with AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit
- Confident client-facing communicator with strong coordination skills
- Experience with surveys and spatial coordination of plant areas
- Strong ownership mindset and commitment to design quality
