Our client is a leading engineering consultancy delivering complex data centre and mission-critical infrastructure projects across the UK and international markets.

They are currently looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their London-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to take responsibility for the delivery of electrical design across technically demanding projects, while developing their technical leadership, client-facing, and project coordination skills.

Working closely with Principal Engineers, Associate Directors, and multidisciplinary project teams, you will contribute to projects from concept and design development through to construction support, while providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior and intermediate engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Design Delivery

  • Deliver electrical design across concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction-support stages.
  • Prepare and review electrical calculations, specifications, reports, drawings, and technical submissions.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant UK regulations, British Standards, international standards, and client requirements.
  • Provide technical input and engineering solutions to resolve design and coordination challenges.
  • Contribute to the technical quality and consistency of project deliverables.

Project & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate electrical design with mechanical, public health, structural, architectural, and specialist disciplines.
  • Participate in technical workshops, design reviews, and client meetings.
  • Support Principal Engineers and project leads with technical progress reporting and quality assurance.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams to ensure coordinated and buildable design solutions.
  • Support effective communication between engineering disciplines, project stakeholders, and clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
