Join our dynamic team at a pivotal moment in our journey towards achieving the UK’s 2050 Net Zero Carbon Targets for Buildings. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead crucial electrical building services design projects and support the growth of our consultancy based in the heart of Wilmslow town centre.

Day-to-day of the role

  • Lead and deliver electrical building services design projects through all RIBA stages 1-6.
  • Support the Building Services Design process (RIBA 1-4) and services team.
  • Assist in the construction process (RIBA 5-6) and project management teams.
  • Engage in Low Energy Building Design (RIBA 1-4) and technical teams.
  • Produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, and technical reports.
  • Provide expert knowledge on Electrical Engineering Design.
  • Act as a mentor for Junior Electrical Engineers.
  • Develop and improve technical systems within the business.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, suppliers, and experts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Chartered Electrical Engineer.
  • Member of a recognised professional body (e.g., IET, CIBSE).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Building Services Sector.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior position.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Building Services Degree/Apprenticeship.
  • Proficiency in software such as Dialux and Revit.
  • Experience in designing various systems including Lighting, Power, Fire & Security, and more.
