Senior Electrical Engineer | Glasgow | Building Services Consultancy

We're partnering with an ambitious and growing Building Services Consultancy that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering innovative engineering solutions across some of the UK's most exciting developments.

The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll take a leading role in the design and delivery of electrical building services solutions from concept through to completion. You'll work closely with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest technical standards while helping develop and support junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical services design on a variety of projects
  • Manage and coordinate project delivery from conception to completion
  • Prepare complex calculations, specifications and technical reports
  • Engage directly with clients and attend project meetings
  • Oversee design quality and mentor engineers and technicians
  • Support project planning, resource management and commercial reporting
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ensure compliance with business management systems and industry standards

What We're Looking For

  • Experience delivering electrical building services design across a range of sectors
  • Previous experience leading projects and mentoring teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of industry software including Amtech, Dialux, Hevacomp, NBS or similar
  • AutoCAD and Revit experience
  • Degree qualified (preferred)
  • Working towards or holding MCIBSE / CEng status
  • Approximately 5+ years' experience operating at Senior Engineer level
  • Full UK Driving Licence
