An excellent opportunity has become available for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join one of the UK’s most respected Building Services consultancies.

Role
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll take ownership of electrical building services projects from concept through to completion, working alongside multidisciplinary teams and developing long-term relationships with clients.
This is a varied role offering genuine responsibility, technical autonomy and the opportunity to influence project delivery while mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading electrical building services design projects.
- Acting as Project Lead on selected commissions.
- Producing electrical calculations, specifications and technical reports.
- Managing project delivery through all design stages.
- Attending client and design team meetings.
- Working collaboratively with architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Delivering sustainable engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors.
Requirements
You’ll be an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer with a passion for quality design and delivering exceptional client service.

Ideally, You’ll Have
- Degree, HNC or HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- Around 4+ years’ experience within a Building Services consultancy.
- Experience delivering electrical building services designs across multiple sectors.
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant British Standards.
- Experience using industry-standard software including Revit, Amtech, Relux or Dialux.
- An understanding of HV/LV systems, renewable technologies and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Working towards, or already holding, Chartered Engineer status through CIBSE or the IET.
