Senior Electrical Engineer – Building Services

Salary: £55,000–£70,000 DOE + Bonus

Location: Flexible / Hybrid

Type: Permanent

We are recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing Building Services consultancy delivering projects across commercial, residential, care, refurbishment, and Building Safety Act-related schemes.

This is a key technical appointment offering considerable autonomy, flexible working, and the opportunity to become an important part of a growing consultancy.

The Role

  • Electrical Building Services design from concept through detailed stages
  • Detailed electrical calculations
  • LV distribution and distribution schedules
  • Cable sizing, lighting, emergency lighting, and small power
  • Specifications and technical documentation
  • Review and coordination of CAD drawings
  • Client and project meetings
  • Managing your own projects and workload

About You

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer, ideally with 5+ years' post-qualification experience within a consultancy environment.

Strong detailed design and calculation capability is essential, particularly around electrical distribution and schedules.

Dedicated CAD support is already available, so the focus is on technical engineering and project ownership rather than drawing production.
