Senior Electrical Engineer
Central London Hybrid
Up to £70,000 DOE + Benefits Package + Bonus
We’re working with a leading engineering consultancy in Central London looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer within its building services design team.
You’ll be joining a technically strong engineering team delivering complex electrical designs across healthcare estates, critical infrastructure & mission-critical environments, taking projects from initial feasibility through detailed design & into construction.
What will you be doing?
- Leading electrical designs from feasibility through to construction
- Designing LV distribution, standby generation, UPS, lighting & earthing systems
- Producing electrical calculations, specifications, technical reports & tender packages
- Undertaking site surveys & developing upgrade strategies for existing electrical infrastructure
- Supporting the replacement & upgrade of critical electrical assets
- Reviewing electrical designs, drawings & technical submissions
- Coordinating with clients, contractors & multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Taking technical ownership of electrical packages across complex projects
- Supporting junior engineers & contributing to the wider development of the electrical team

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in building services or electrical engineering consultancy, capable of taking ownership of electrical designs & delivering projects with a good level of technical autonomy.
Experience across healthcare, critical infrastructure or other technically complex environments would be particularly relevant.

You’ll have experience across:
- LV electrical distribution
- Standby generation & UPS systems
- Lighting & emergency lighting
- Earthing systems
- Electrical calculations & specifications
- Site surveys & existing infrastructure upgrades
- Design delivery across multiple RIBA stages
- Client & contractor coordination
