An established building services consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. The business specialises in mechanical, electrical and public health design, delivering predominantly high-rise residential and commercial projects, with a strong focus on RIBA Stage 4 & 5 delivery.
Your new role
This is a fully remote position offering flexibility and autonomy, with occasional travel to London for site visits and project coordination.
Working as part of an experienced design team, you'll play a key role in the delivery of electrical building services projects, taking responsibility for technical design, coordination and project delivery across a range of high-profile developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and coordinate electrical designs across Stage 4 & 5 projects
- Prepare calculations, specifications and technical drawings
- Coordinate with mechanical, public health and architectural teams
- Support project delivery to programme and quality requirements
- Review and check designs and documentation
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians
- Attend design team meetings, site visits and client meetings as required

What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years' experience in electrical building services design
- Strong experience delivering Stage 4 & 5 projects
- Experience working on high-rise residential and commercial developments
- Proven experience working on UK projects with a strong understanding of UK Building Regulations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a remote team
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Experience using industry-standard design software and coordination tools
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload in a remote environment
