Senior Electrical Engineer – London

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to play a key role in the growth of an expanding M&E team within an International, Engineering Consultancy.

Location: London

Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 (dependant on experience)

Job Description:

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an International, Engineering Consultancy to assist with expanding their M&E Team who focus on Data Centre Projects.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of medium-sized engineering projects, acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the design and delivery process.
  • Lead the development, design and coordination of mechanical building services, including associated systems, equipment and installations.
  • Develop and define appropriate control strategies, instrumentation and operational systems for building engineering applications.
  • Review existing installations, carrying out surveys and assessments and producing technical reports where required.
  • Develop technical requirements and specifications to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation and commissioning activities meet the agreed design intent and client requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and make informed day-to-day technical decisions, providing advice and maintaining regular communication with clients.
  • Represent the consultancy at technical discussions and project meetings with clients, contractors and wider professional teams.
  • Undertake engineering calculations and technical assessments to ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Undertake design reviews and quality checks, verifying the accuracy and suitability of drawings, specifications and other technical documentation.

Requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience of specification design/drawing for at least one building type.
  • Background in consulting or construction preferred.
  • Experience using REVIT.
  • Chartered Engineer status, or demonstrable progress towards professional registration.
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK (note, Visa Sponsorship is not possible)
