⚡ Senior Electrical Engineer | Oxford | Hybrid

Ready to take the next step in your electrical engineering career?

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing building services team in Oxford, working across a diverse portfolio of projects from inception through to completion and handover.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects spanning heritage and conservation, transport, education, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, public and community sectors, while taking on increasing responsibility for projects and people.

🔧 What you'll be doing

You’ll be involved in:

  • Leading project surveys
  • Feasibility studies
  • Electrical project design
  • Preparing specifications
  • On-site supervision
  • Contract administration
  • Management of electrical services installations
  • Overseeing engineers and technicians
  • Mentoring and training junior team members
  • Managing project workflows and milestones
  • Maintaining internal Quality Assurance standards
  • Supporting bids, fee proposals and project financial management as you progress

👇 What we're looking for

You'll ideally have:

  • A relevant degree
  • 3–5+ years' experience in building services design
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
  • Experience across different industry sectors
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical design software and AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • A full driving licence and access to your own transport

Desirable:

  • Experience with design and modelling software
  • Revit experience and knowledge
