Senior Electrical Engineers – Data Centres
Location: UK Wide – Remote, Hybrid & Onsite Opportunities
Salary: £75,000 – £110,000 DOE
Employment Type: Permanent
Due to significant growth across the UK Data Centre market, we are recruiting multiple Senior Electrical Engineers across a number of leading engineering consultancies and Data Centre clients throughout the UK.
Opportunities are available on a remote, hybrid and onsite basis, depending on the role and client. We are keen to speak with experienced engineers from Senior through to Principal and Lead level.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design and delivery across major Data Centre projects.
- Design and specify HV/MV/LV distribution and critical power systems.
- Produce and review single-line diagrams, load schedules, cable calculations and technical specifications.
- Lead the design of resilient electrical and associated building services systems.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and BIM teams.
- Undertake technical reviews, site surveys and inspections.
- Work directly with clients, contractors and wider project teams.
- Manage project deliverables, technical risks and resources.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.

About You
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or equivalent.
- Proven Data Centre electrical design experience.
- Strong knowledge of critical power, resilient systems and electrical distribution.
- Experience delivering large-scale building services or infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of UK regulations, British Standards and CDM 2015.
- Experience with Amtech/Trimble ProDesign or similar software.
- BIM/Revit experience advantageous.
- Chartered status or progress towards CEng desirable.
