The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join an established building services contractor specialising in electrical and mechanical installations across commercial environments.

The business delivers a range of technically challenging projects, with a strong focus on commercial office fit-outs, Cat A and Cat B refurbishments, and complex electrical building services installations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager who has a strong background in commercial fit-out projects, ideally with experience managing electrical packages valued at £10 million or above.

The Role

As Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of major electrical packages, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing electrical installations across large-scale commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
  • Overseeing electrical packages ideally valued at £10 million or above.
  • Managing project programmes, budgets, procurement and subcontractors.
  • Coordinating with mechanical teams, consultants, clients and other project stakeholders.
  • Managing electrical installations including power, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarms, security systems and LV distribution.
  • Monitoring project progress, costs and commercial performance.
  • Ensuring all works comply with relevant regulations, specifications and health and safety requirements.
  • Leading project meetings and providing regular progress reports.
  • Managing technical issues, design coordination and project variations.
  • Overseeing commissioning, testing, handover and project close-out.
  • Leading and supporting project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
