Senior Electrical Technical Supervisor x3 (Permanent)
Our client is seeking three experienced Senior Electrical Technical Supervisors to join their growing team. Based primarily in Essex, the role may also involve travel across London and Suffolk.
The business delivers major electrical infrastructure and industrial projects including:
- LV Infrastructure
- Transformer Installations
- Generator Installations
- LV & HV Panel Installations
- Feeder Pillars
- Limited Associated Civil Works
Please note: No domestic or housing sector work is undertaken.
The Role
You will oversee electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities across commercial and industrial projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with UK regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors
- Allocate work, monitor productivity, and conduct toolbox talks
- Ensure compliance with Electricity at Work Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and BS7671
- Prepare and review RAMS and monitor safe working practices
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Inspect installations, support testing and commissioning activities
- Identify and resolve technical issues
- Liaise with clients, engineers, suppliers, and site teams
- Manage materials, resources, and project documentation
- Attend site meetings and provide project updates
- Carry out quality inspections, snagging, and compliance checks
- Maintain certification and installation records
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician, Electrical Supervisor, or Senior Electrical Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of UK electrical regulations and standards
- Experience leading teams and coordinating workloads
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Desirable Experience
- Transformers, generators, LV/HV switchgear, and feeder pillars
- Industrial, utilities, or infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS or CSCS Card
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (preferred)
- SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable)
