Role Description
The Senior Electrician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Worcestershire. This role involves leading and carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work across industrial, commercial, and niche property environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Planning and installing electrical systems

The Senior Electrician will provide technical guidance to team members, coordinate with project managers and clients, and support the integration of related systems such as networking, audiovisual, automation, and CCTV when required. The role also includes:
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Contributing to project handovers
- Supporting continuous improvement in quality and efficiency
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electricity principles and safe electrical practices, with the ability to apply them in complex environments.
- Hands-on experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and system upgrades in industrial and commercial settings.
- Proficiency in maintenance & repair activities, including scheduled servicing, corrective work, and equipment replacement.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Background in electrical engineering or equivalent technical training, with understanding of relevant standards and regulations.
- Recognized electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) and current industry certifications; 18th Edition or similar is highly desirable.
- Experience leading or mentoring junior electricians, with strong communication and coordination skills for working with clients and project teams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, and to complete accurate reports and documentation.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites within the region as required.
- Commitment to health and safety, attention to detail, and a quality-focused approach to completing work right first time.
