Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Factory-based with travel across UK mainland and Channel Islands
A growing and innovative construction organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Electrician to join its expanding team.
This is a varied role combining factory-based electrical work with site installation, testing, commissioning, customer liaison, and project support. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installations, working collaboratively with internal teams, customers, and site personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out first fix and second fix electrical installations across factory and customer sites.
- Test, inspect, and commission electrical installations in line with current regulations and industry standards.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Create, update, and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics to support project delivery.
- Liaise with customers and site teams to discuss electrical requirements, resolve queries, and provide practical solutions.
- Coordinate electrical requirements throughout projects, ensuring installations meet specifications and customer expectations.
- Order electrical materials and manage stock levels to ensure projects are adequately supported.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Support a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider project team.
- Travel to sites across the UK mainland and Channel Islands as required, including occasional overnight stays.

Key Skills & Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 Technical Certificate or equivalent electrical qualification.
- City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Proven experience carrying out first fix, second fix, testing, and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to read, interpret, and produce electrical drawings and schematics.
- Experience ordering materials and managing electrical stock requirements.
- Confidence communicating with customers and site teams.
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
