Senior Electronic Design Engineer

Location: Colchester (hybrid, 3 days on site)
Salary: £55,000–£65,000 with generous benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team working on a variety of cutting-edge projects based in Colchester.

This role offers a great blend of challenge and variety, giving you the opportunity to work across new and existing electronic designs, including legacy systems and product improvements. Your engineering expertise and problem-solving skills will play an important role in developing, improving, and maintaining electronic systems throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in electronic hardware design
  • Strong analogue and digital electronics knowledge
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB design
  • Good understanding of electronic components, circuits, and systems
  • Experience using electronic design/CAD tools
  • Strong fault-finding and debugging skills
  • Ability to analyse problems and develop practical engineering solutions
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of engineering projects
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
