Maxilux Systems

Maxilux Systems is a rapidly growing and well established scale-up that develops highly innovative IIoT systems. We design, develop and deploy tech-focused warehouse and supply chain efficiency solutions that are used globally by some of the world's most prominent logistics companies. We're looking for talented, motivated and creative people to join us in creating an ever-evolving suite of products and services for innovative industrial IoT applications.

Our team is highly motivated and enthusiastic about what we do. We have a solid track record of delivering robust and scalable solutions where our customers demand rapid prototyping, creative thinking, fresh ideas and the ability to move from concept to mass manufacture quickly.

What We Do

Our mission is to deliver solutions that drive efficiency and capacity across operations using our proven, standard and scalable technology in a bespoke way to drive value for our customers and improve the working environment.

How We Do It

By engaging customers in the design and decision making process, building proven and bespoke technology-driven solutions together. We act as an extension of our client's internal teams.

Our Solution

Full deployment of proven technology to unique operational challenges, from concept & design through installation and commissioning to ongoing maintenance worldwide. We provide proven hardware for customers to customise to their own requirements right through to full solutions including software, full integration to customer WMS and other platforms, performance monitoring and maintenance of the full system.

What You’ll Do

We're looking for a highly experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team. You will be working in a fast moving environment developing embedded devices for use in our industrial IoT systems. These include edge devices for facilitating low-latency processing of a wide range of technologies, including depth cameras, LiDAR, BLE and RFID as well as higher level control devices.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience of industrial-scale hardware design, throughout the full product life-cycle. You should have extensive knowledge of digital electronics and at least working knowledge of product design lifecycle, qualification and verification methods.

You will be responsible for leading the design of a range of edge devices that are used at scale, in truly unique and exciting projects.

Some experience with wireless technologies would be an advantage as well as wired protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI and CAN. Ideally you'll also have experience in engineering management or leadership roles within an engineering team.

You will be based in our purpose-built R&D facility in the heart of rural Warwickshire, which is situated on an old farm that overlooks countryside. With this in mind, a driving license is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guiding a small team of 3-4 Hardware Engineers (Electronic/Electrical/Test)
  • Leading internal design and test strategy reviews
  • Possible scope for customer-facing interaction
  • Requirements and Specification Management at a System level from an Electronic and Electrical perspective
  • Working with various operating units within the organisation, ensuring that technical engineering principles are adhered to and standards are upheld
  • Liaising with Project Management teams to ensure tasks are allocated with correct priorities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
