Senior EL/PL Lawyer

Huddersfield | Hybrid Working
Salary up to £50,000 + Bonus & Benefits

I’m working with a growing personal injury practice in Huddersfield that is looking to recruit a Senior EL/PL Fee Earner to join its expanding team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced EL/PL Fee Earner, Solicitor, Legal Executive or non-qualified Lawyer who is looking to join a business that is investing heavily in this area of work and has clear plans to grow the team further.

The firm is well-established, self-funded and benefits from a strong, consistent flow of good quality personal injury work. This gives the successful candidate the chance to join a secure and growing business with genuine progression opportunities as the EL/PL team continues to develop.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims, including matters that have exited the MOJ Portal, complex Portal claims and litigated EL/PL files.

The caseload will consist predominantly of Fast Track work, with some Intermediate Track and Multi-Track matters depending on experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
