Senior Employee Benefits Consultant – Healthcare & Group Risk

£60,000 – £80,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Up to 20% Bonus

Remote / Home Based – National Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Benefits Consultant to join a growing national Employee Benefits business in a genuinely home-based role. With a salary of £60,000–£80,000, £5,000 car allowance, up to 20% bonus, 6% employer pension contribution and Private Medical Insurance, this is an attractive opportunity for an established consultant looking for flexibility alongside the opportunity to manage and develop a portfolio of mid-market corporate clients.

The Role

Working predominantly remotely from home, you will manage a portfolio of mid-market clients across Corporate Healthcare and Group Risk, providing a high level of consultancy and relationship management. You'll be responsible for developing existing client relationships, identifying opportunities to generate additional income and supporting the continued growth of the Employee Benefits business through new client acquisition. (20% new business and 80% portfolio management) This is a senior, autonomous position where you'll have the opportunity to build strong long-term relationships with clients while also playing a part in shaping the wider healthcare and risk proposition.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
