Senior Employee Benefits Consultant – Cayman Islands
Camana Bay, Cayman Islands (office-based) | Six-figure salary (USD) + relocation package
Relocate to the Cayman Islands and take on a warm, high-value employee benefits portfolio.
We're working with a Cayman Islands insurance brokerage building out its employee benefits capability under a newly appointed Head of Brokerage. For a UK-based Senior Employee Benefits Consultant, it's a genuinely realistic route to relocation — a warm portfolio, and a market well aligned to your expertise.
The role
Reporting to the Director, you'll take on a well-established portfolio of legal and financial services clients spanning health, group life, disability, and wider benefits — with real autonomy to shape how it develops. Your key areas of focus will include:

- Driving business development and retention across the health and benefits portfolio
- Leading the renewal cycle — market reviews, proposals, presentations, and programme installations
- Owning coverage, claims, and renewal queries, from the routine through to the complex
- Running pre-renewal and mid-term performance reviews directly with clients
What you'll bring
Our client is looking for someone who's built real credibility leading a large group health and employee benefits portfolio, ideally with financial or legal sector clients and regular C-suite exposure. Specifically, you'll be able to demonstrate:
- A demonstrable track record managing and growing a book of business, including market and claims analysis
- The ability to build and sustain client relationships through negotiation and trusted advice
- A professional qualification recognised in the market — ACII, HIA, AHIP, or equivalent
- A bachelor's degree, ideally in risk management or a related discipline

Nice to have: familiarity with the US or wider regional Caribbean market, and experience with Applied EPIC.
Just as importantly, you'll be the kind of consultant who can bring UK-honed expertise into a new market and earn credibility on the ground — the team is already built around UK and European experience, and this role continues that thread.
