Location: Hybrid from the Midlands

About the Role

We are currently working on a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Employee Benefits professional to join a growing firm within a role where you will be given the autonomy to work with a portfolio of clients and grow a pipeline of new business within the Midlands. This role would suit a highly motivated and commercially focused Senior Employee Benefits Consultant to join this growing EB team and take on a responsible role working closely with the Director and be involved with the strategic direction of the proposition offered out to clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced benefits professional who combines exceptional technical knowledge with a proven track record of winning and developing new business.

Working with a diverse portfolio of clients, you will provide strategic employee benefits advice while playing a key role in driving revenue growth through client acquisition, networking, and relationship development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering high-quality employee benefits consulting services.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across the employee benefits market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including HR Directors, Finance Directors, and business owners.
  • Provide strategic advice on:
    • Group Risk
    • Private Medical Insurance
    • Health & Wellbeing Solutions
    • Employee Assistance Programmes
    • Flexible Benefits
    • Financial Wellbeing and Pension-related services
  • Lead and deliver client reviews, renewal negotiations, market exercises, and presentations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and insurer partners to design and implement tailored benefits strategies.
  • Keep abreast of market developments, legislation, and emerging trends within the employee benefits sector.
  • Contribute to marketing, networking, and business development initiatives to enhance the firm's market presence.

About You

We are looking for an ambitious and client-focused professional with:

  • Experience
    • Significant experience within employee benefits consulting.
    • Strong technical knowledge across Group Risk, PMI, and wider employee benefits products.
    • Demonstrable success in generating and converting new business opportunities.
    • Experience managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
